6 Boys Sexually Assaulted At Hyderabad Juvenile Home, Supervisor Arrested

A supervisor at a juvenile home in Hyderabad was arrested for sexually assaulting six boys. The case came to light after a 10-year-old narrated his ordeal to his mother.

The supervisor of a juvenile home in Hyderabad was arrested on charges of sexually assaulting as many as six boys at the facility. The incident came to light after a 10-year-old boy at the Saidabad juvenile home narrated his ordeal to his mother.

According to the details, the 10-year-old had gone home for Dussehra holidays. However, he refused to return to the juvenile home.

As his mother asked him the reason, he told his mother about the incident. Subsequently, she filed a complaint with the police, and a case in this regard was registered.

The accused was taken in custody on the basis of the complaint.

Further investigations into the case revealed that five more boys had been sexually assaulted by the supervisor.

Commenting on the same, the Saidabad police said, “A 10-year-old boy was sexually assaulted by a 27-year-old juvenile home supervisor over several days."

“The boy went home for Dussehra holidays and feared returning to the juvenile home afterwards. He then told his mother about the matter, and she filed a complaint with us," the police said.

“We have registered a case and are investigating the matter. The accused is in our custody," they added.

In another incident, the Palghar police in Maharashtra registered a case against a brick kiln owner and his son for allegedly assaulting a tribal worker and forcing his minor daughter to work at their unit in Thane district.

The accused had paid Rs 45,000 to the tribal victim, hailing from Palghar and employed him at their brick kiln in neighbouring Thane without a bond between November 2024 and May 2025.

They accused him of not doing the work properly, and allegedly beat him up and also abused him.

They also made the victim’s 13-year-old daughter work at the brick kiln despite knowing that she was a minor.
