As many as 99.07% of students in Kerala who sat for the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examinations in March have qualified for higher studies.
The pass percentage was 0.43 percentage points less than the 99.5% last year.
General Education Principal Secretary Sharmila Mary Joseph, who announced the results here on Friday, said the number of students who secured full A+ grade was 30,514. This was less than half the number of students who got A+ last year.
Of the 4,14,290 students who appeared for the SSLC exams, 4,10,456 became eligible for higher studies.
