Amid Fardeen Khan, daughter Natasha's separation, Mumtaz wishes they will reunite
Veteran actor Mumtaz has opened up about her daughter Natasha Madhvani’s separation in 2023 with late actor Feroz Khan’s son, actor Fardeen Khan. While Natasha lives in London with their children – daughter Diani and son Azarius, Fardeen who resides in Mumbai, keeps visiting them. Now, in a recent interview, Mumtaz expressed her desire for their reunion. She also called Fardeen a ‘great father and husband’, revealing that still cares deeply for his estranged wife Natasha.
During a candid conversation with Vickey Lalwani, she called him a ‘gem’ and said, “Mujhe aaj bhi Fardeen heera ladka lagta hai (he is a gem). He is my favourite. I love him because when he was born and we were shooting for Feroz’s film, I drank the celebratory champagne in his name. He is such a sweetheart.”
Recalling how Fardeen visited her daughter in London when she wasn’t doing well a while ago, the veteran actor shared, “Even today.. I want to tell you that when my daughter was a little sick in London, he flew from India thrice to visit her. If it was some other man, he would have conveniently said, ‘Go jump in the lake, why should I come?’ It wasn’t necessary for him to come and visit, but he came and met her twice or thrice.”
Besides Natasha, the actor is also very attached to his children. “Their kids are with the mother, so whenever they have their holidays, he takes them on vacation. And, my daughter happily agrees to the same. Keeps them like a flower, taking them everywhere, never says no, and goes shopping with them. I am not lying, he is an amazing father and a very good husband. He loves his children more than his own life. You can ask him yourself. They have such beautiful children,” she revealed.
Mumtaz also opened up about her wish for the separated couple to get back together. “He is a very nice person, great human being. He loves me also a lot, respects me so much. I would still pray to God that these two reunite. If he finds something good, he gifts in to Natasha and me too. Par pata nahi takhdeer ko manzoor hai ki nahi (don’t know what destiny wants). He hasn’t gotten married to anyone else till now. They both will have to think and then decide to get back together. I can’t say anything or force them, they are adults. I have told Fardeen 2-4 times..why can’t you both be together? He just says, ‘We will see’,” she said.

This isn’t the first time that Mumtaz has addressed the separation of her daughter Natasha and Fardeen Khan. In an earlier interview with Times Of India in July, the 78-year-old had said, “They are saying they are separating, but they still aren’t divorced. I love Fardeen a lot. He was born in front of me. They are still husband and wife. Nothing serious has happened. Maybe they don’t get along anymore. Every marriage has ups and downs.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Fardeen Khan returned to films after a long sabbatical, last year. He featured in Tarun Mansukhani’s ensemble comedy Housefull 5.
