Director explains the reason for the slow pace
Riyas Marath said, “The movie released yesterday. By yesterday evening, we had started getting the kind of reactions we wanted.
That made us very happy. Because of that happiness, we decided we should sit together like this today. The reviews we hoped for, based on the effort we put in, have started coming in now.”He added that they wanted the movie to get more visibility because they strongly believe it deserves that space. Riyas also said the movie has many talented people and a very strong technical team who worked very hard.He said, “Everyone please watch the film. If you watch it, there is a good chance you will like it, because of the genre.
We have treated it as a psychological investigative film. The first half was made to set that atmosphere, and from there we built a pace leading to the climax.”
Why some viewers felt lag
The director also spoke about the “lag” comments, “I heard in some reviews that the first half feels lagging. Some people might feel that way. But when we show the mindset of someone with psychological disturbance, the story needs a certain kind of world-building.
That is what we tried to treat there. I don’t know how successful we were in that. But we are very happy with the responses we are getting now.”
