AXISCADES unit bags ₹25 crore HAL order for LCA Mk1A fighter programme

AXISCADES Technologies’ subsidiary Mistral Solutions has secured a ₹25 crore order from Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) to supply Single Board Computers for the LCA Mk1A fighter aircraft programme, the Bengaluru-based defence electronics company announced on Monday.

The order adds to AXISCADES’ growing defence order book and marks a continuing engagement with the indigenous Light Combat Aircraft programme, which forms a cornerstone of India’s defence modernisation push. The LCA Mk1A is an upgraded variant of the Tejas fighter, with HAL contracted to deliver 83 aircraft to the Indian Air Force.

Hardware for the programme will be manufactured and delivered from AXISCADES’ DAL (Devanahalli Atmanirbhar Complex) facility at the Bangalore Aerospace Park, adjacent to Kempegowda International Airport — a facility the company has positioned as central to its “Make in India” manufacturing strategy.

Mistral Solutions specialises in high-performance embedded systems and defence electronics. C. Manikandan, CEO of Mistral Solutions, said the win reflects the group’s increasing contribution to the government’s indigenisation initiative.

AXISCADES shares were trading at ₹1,385.90 on the NSE on Monday afternoon, down 1.87 per cent from the previous close of ₹1,412.30, having touched an intraday high of ₹1,452.80 before pulling back. The company is listed on both NSE and BSE (532395).

AXISCADES employs over 3,000 professionals across 17 global locations and has operations in France, Germany, Denmark, the United States and Canada, with its core focus on aerospace, defence and electronics engineering services.
