Baba Ramdev to be chief guest at State-level Yogandhra event

Minister for Health, Family Welfare and Medical Education Satya Kumar Yadav has announced that yoga guru Baba Ramdev has been invited as the chief guest for the State-level Yogandhra event scheduled to be held on June 21.

Reviewing the arrangements on Tuesday, the Minister said around 25,000 participants are expected to attend the main event. They will be organised into groups, each of which will be guided through yoga demonstrations by members of Baba Ramdev’s team. Students trained under Baba Ramdev’s guidance will also take part in the programme.

Mr. Yadav said that, following the directions of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Government Advisor for Yoga and Naturopathy Manthena Satyanarayana Raju, along with officials of the AYUSH Department, will travel to Haridwar to formally invite Baba Ramdev to the event.
