Akshay Kumar's 'Bhooth Bangla' announcement receives backlash from netizens
On Saturday, Akshay Kumar dropped the 'Bhooth Bangla' video, announcing that the movie will hit theaters early. Soon, netizens slammed the use of AI in the announcement video. The clip featured a black cat scratching the date May 15 on a calendar and then spilling milk over it. The cat then licks the milk spilled on the calendar, which reveals the new release date—April 10.
Some of the X users went on to call it a "trash" promo because of the AI-generated video.
Not just that, people even questioned the release date. They expressed that the movie will be out just 3-4 weeks after the release of 'Dhurandhar 2' and 'Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups', which can affect the box office collection of the horror comedy. X users called it a "bad decision" by the makers because of the content of the Ranveer Singh starrer, and Yash's film turned out to be strong, 'Bhooth Bangla' will fail at the box office.
