Bihar Assembly Election 2025 Live Updates: Congress will finalise seat sharing soon after a meeting, party leader Shakeel Ahmad Khan said on Sunday. He reaffirmed that the Mahagathbandhan was united and confident of ousting the ruling NDA in Bihar. The last date for filing nominations for the first phase of polling is October 17.

NDA seat-sharing finalised: The NDA has already finalised its seat-sharing formula for the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections, with the BJP and JD(U) getting 101 seats each. Chirag Paswan-led Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vikas) will contest 29 seats, while the Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular) of Jitan Ram Manjhi and the Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM) of Upendra Kushwaha will contest six seats each.
