A Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA from Madhya Pradesh’s Shivpuri district sparked a controversy after he allegedly declined to listen to the grievances of residents from a neighbouring Assembly segment, reportedly telling them that they had not voted for him.
The situation escalated when an upset villager placed his young child on the bonnet of the legislator’s vehicle as a mark of protest. A video of the episode has surfaced on social media and is being widely circulated.
