The Jaipur Polo Team secured their second trophy of the season in a thrilling match, triumphing 6-5 against Dynamix Achievers to win the BM Birla Cup at the Rajasthan Polo Club on Sunday. The formidable pair of HH Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh of Jaipur and Lance Watson each scored twice, leading Jaipur to a memorable victory.

The match was closely contested from the first chukker, with both teams finishing the period tied at 1-1, thanks to goals from Vandit Golecha for Jaipur and Shivangi Jai Singh for Dynamix. In the second chukker, Dynamix gained the upper hand, showing great attacking prowess and scoring two goals through Daniel Otamendi.

Dynamix continued their dominance in the third chukker, with Otamendi netting his third goal and Shivangi Singh completing her brace, which extended their lead to 5-2 by the end of the period.

As the fourth chukker began, Jaipur started their remarkable comeback. Devvrat Singh Jhalamand scored first, followed by two crucial goals from Sawai Padmanabh Singh, the team’s top scorer, shifting the momentum in favour of Jaipur. The fourth chukker concluded with both teams tied at 5-5.

The match proceeded to a decisive fifth chukker, where Lance Watson scored the only goal of the period in the third minute, securing victory for his team.
