Security agencies have stepped up vigil across key locations in the national capital after intelligence inputs warned of a possible terror threat targeting prominent government and political establishments in Delhi. The alert has led to heightened security arrangements around the Bharatiya Janata Party headquarters on DDU Marg and nearby government offices, according to intelligence sources.

Officials familiar with the development said agencies received specific inputs suggesting that sensitive locations in the area could be vulnerable to potential terror activities. Following the warning, multiple security layers have been activated to prevent any untoward incident and ensure public safety.

Sources indicated that investigators are examining the possibility of different forms of attacks, including suicide strikes, vehicle-borne explosives, shootings, and improvised explosive devices (IEDs).
