Dhurandhar box office collection day 17: 'Dhurandhar' has now entered its third week and has broken several records. The film, starring Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal, remained unaffected by the release of 'Avatar: Fire and Ash' as it entered its third week. Dhurandhar is the second fastest Hindi movie to reach the milestone, bettered only by Allu Arjun-fronted Telugu blockbuster Pushpa 2 - The Rule, which set the record by crossing 500 crore net in 11 days. Among the Bollywood films, superstar Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan was previously the fastest, with 18 days taken to breach the milestone.

It collected Rs 253 crore in the second week, which is more than the first week collection. This happens so rarely. It had made Rs 207.25 crore in week one. After completing week 2, the film has begun on a slow note on third Friday and now may gradually begin to see a dip. On day 15, which is Friday, it made Rs 22.5 crore. On third Saturday, it saw growth of around 52 percent and made Rs 34.25 crore. And now it has started day 17, Sunday also on a decent note. It may end up making the same number as Saturday if not more. Till afternoon, the film's collection is Rs 19.33 crore. The total collection now stands at Rs 536.58 crore. With this, 'Dhurandhar' has also broken the record of Sunny Deol's 'Gadar 2', which had a lifetime collection of Rs 525.7 crore.
