The Malkajgiri police imposed a temporary ban on the operation of drones, para-gliders and remotely controlled micro-light aircraft over parts of Hyderabad ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public meeting in Parade Ground in Secuderabad on Sunday (May 10, 2026).

According to a notification issued by Ch. Sridhar, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Malkajgiri Zone, no flying activities involving remotely controlled drones of any capacity, para-gliders or remotely controlled micro-light aircraft would be permitted over the limits of Begumpet, Bowenpally and Marredpally police stations from 12 a.m. to 12 midnight on May 10.

The notification warned that any person violating the order would be liable for action under the relevant provisions of law.
