Enforcement Directorate raided S. Ranganathan's home after Coldrif cough syrup by Sresan Pharmaceuticals was linked to child deaths in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.

The Enforcement Directorate on Monday raided the residence of S. Ranganathan, owner of Sresan Pharmaceuticals, the maker of Coldrif cough syrup, which has been linked to the deaths of several children in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.
It is learnt that five ED sleuths were conducting raids at Ranganathan’s residence in Chennai. Further, searches were also underway at the residences of two drug inspectors.
