Elon Musk Net Worth 2025: Only four days after becoming the first person with a net worth of $600 billion, Elon Musk became the first person with a net worth of $700 billion on Friday, according to Forbes. This happened after the Delaware Supreme Court overturned a lower court's ruling that had invalidated Musk's award of Tesla stock options, now worth $139 billion. Forbes estimates that following the successful appeal against the ruling, Musk's net worth has now reached a record $749 billion.
According to Forbes' billionaires index, this development has brought Musk even closer to becoming the world's first trillionaire. Musk's 2018 pay package, once worth $56 billion, was restored by the Delaware Supreme Court on Friday, two years after a lower court struck down the compensation deal as "unfathomable."
The Supreme Court said that a 2024 ruling that rescinded the pay package had been improper and inequitable to Musk, Forbes reported.
Earlier this week, Musk became the first person with a net worth exceeding $600 billion, following reports that his aerospace startup SpaceX is soon to go public.
