Homes worth around ₹500 crore are likely to be purchased at the three day FAIRPRO 2026, the property fair to be held in Chennai starting on February 20. This will be the 18th edition of the event.

The event, organised by the Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Association of India (CREDAI), Chennai, last year saw home buying worth around ₹300 crore. However, this year with the market being good, many properties are available in sub-₹1 crore, which could attract many first time buyers, S Sivagurunathan, Advisor, FAIRPRO 2026 and Past President of CREDAI Chennai.

“The residential market in Chennai remains strong, supported by infrastructure growth and steady demand across segments. This edition brings together the finest developments across apartments, villas, plots and commercial spaces, enabling homebuyers and investors to make confident and well-informed decisions,” he told newspersons.

“With over 80+ developers and 500 projects on display, FAIRPRO continues to be Chennai’s most trusted Property Fair. Over the years, the event has evolved beyond an exhibition to become a benchmark for credibility, transparency and opportunity in property ownership,” said Mohamed Ali, President, CREDAI Chennai.

With a large lineup of projects, exclusive deals and SBI as the sole banking partner, FAIRPRO will be a one-stop destination for every homebuyer, said K. Mothish Kumar, Convenor, FAIRPRO 2026.
