Low-cost regional airline FLY91 will operate additional flights between Rajahmundry and Hyderabad, and between Vijayawada and Hyderabad from May 16, following an overwhelming response from passengers.
The airline will increase the frequency on both routes from the present two flights a day to three flights daily, enabling convenient same-day return travel.
FLY91 Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Manoj Chacko said in a press release that the enhanced services marked another step in the airline’s commitment to strengthening regional air connectivity in Andhra Pradesh by offering reliable, safe and convenient travel options between key tier-2 cities and Hyderabad.
He said the move was in line with the airline’s ‘Bharat Unbound’ vision to further strengthen its regional footprint. The increase in flights reflected the growing demand for dependable regional connectivity in Andhra Pradesh, he added.
FLY91 currently operates services to 12 destinations, including Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Pune, Solapur, Jalgaon, Sindhudurg, Kochi, Agatti, Rajahmundry, Vijayawada, Hubballi and Mopa.
