The summit, held from February 16–20, follows the UK’s first AI Summit in 2023 and France’s 2025 edition, which highlighted major global investments in AI. It is the first major global AI event hosted in the Global South.

The menu for the high-profile dinner has been curated by chefs from the ITC group, which has been entrusted with catering all official events at Bharat Mandapam. The dinner showcases the depth and diversity of India’s culinary traditions.

A selection of Indian breads followed, including Taftaan, a leavened bread topped with melon seeds, and Kashmiri Girda, which refers to a popular Kashmiri bread baked fresh every morning.

Dessert was presented as “Nisarga ‘Natures Creation’", comprising Rasmalai Tres Leches with Winterberry preserve. The menu described it as moist and creamy ‘chena’ cake sponge soaked in sweetened milk, paired with winter berry compote and perched on pearl millet streusel.
