Granules India to raise ₹1,762.50 crore

The board of directors of Granules India Limited has approved the proposals to raise an aggregate ₹1,762.50 crore through the preferential issuance of convertible warrants and equity shares.

The board approved the plan to raise ₹1,462.50 crore through the issuance of up to 2.50 crore convertible warrants priced at ₹585 each. They will be allotted to five investors across the promoter and non-promoter groups.

Each warrant is convertible into one equity share of face value ₹1 within 18 months from the date of allotment. According to the terms, 25 per cent of the consideration is payable upon application, with the remaining 75 per cent due upon conversion.

In a separate issue, the company will raise ₹300 crore by issuing up to 51.28 lakh fully paid-up equity shares priced at ₹585 per share to a few non-promoter investors.

The company will convene an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) on January 22, 2026, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday.
