HCL Technologies has completed the acquisition of Guardian India Operations Private Limited, acquiring a 100 per cent stake in the India-based company. The transaction was concluded at 11:59 PM IST on July 31, 2026, marking the successful completion of a strategic acquisition announced earlier. The move is expected to strengthen HCLTech’s operational presence and support its long-term growth strategy in India.
"This is further to our letter dated July 16, 2026, wherein the Company had intimated the acquisition of 100% stake in Guardian India Operations Private Limited, a company incorporated in India. We would like to inform you that the aforesaid acquisition has been completed at 11:59 p.m. IST on July 31, 2026," HCL Tech said in an exchange filing.
On August 1, 2026, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) about the completion of the transaction. The announcement follows HCLTech’s earlier disclosure dated July 16, 2026, in which it had informed the exchanges about its plan to acquire the entire shareholding of Guardian India Operations Private Limited.
