Heineken adds DBS Tech Head-Legal Pradeep Gupta as GCC Legal Lead

Global spirits leader Heineken has added Pradeep Gupta as Head of Legal and Compliance for its Global Capacity Centre in Hyderabad. Prior to this Gupta was the Company Secretary and Head - Legal and Compliance at DBS Tech India.

With nearly two decades of experience, Gupta has experience across legal, compliance, corporate, secretarial, privacy, employment laws, investigations and governance. Prior to DBS, Gupta held senior leadership roles at Metlife, R1 RCM, Aviva and Roulac Global Funds.

As the newly appointed legal and compliance head, Gupta will lead the legal, compliance, corporate secretarial, privacy and risk management function with his focus on enabling business growth while preserving regulatory adherence.

“I look forward to building future-ready legal and compliance capabilities from India—enabling business growth while strengthening governance, trust, and a business-first risk mindset,” said Gupta in a conversation with ETLegalWorld.

Gupta’s move comes at a moment when India is transforming into the world’s largest GCC hub. As of FY2025, India hosts over 1,800 GCCs, accounting for about 55 percent of the global GCC footprint and generating roughly USD 64.6 billion in export revenue, with various industry estimates projecting around 2,400–2,500 GCCs and a USD 105–110 billion GCC market by 2030.
