Invertis University becomes India’s fifth Google Agentic AI University

Invertis University has become India’s fifth Google Agentic AI University through its partnership with Google Cloud and Google Gemini Enterprise for Education.

Invertis University has become the country’s fifth Google Agentic AI University, the second in Uttar Pradesh to achieve this distinction through its collaboration with Google Cloud and Google Gemini Enterprise for Education.

The initiative aims to create an AI-first academic ecosystem by integrating advanced artificial intelligence into teaching, learning, research, innovation, and campus operations.

Over 10,000 students, faculty members and staff are expected to benefit from Google Workspace for Education Plus, while students will also gain access to Google Gemini Enterprise for Education, enabling them to use generative AI for research, coding, content creation, data analysis, and personalised learning.

AI integrated across academics and industry-focused programmes

According to the university, the collaboration is designed to prepare students for the rapidly evolving digital economy by embedding enterprise-grade AI tools into everyday academic experiences. AI technologies will be integrated across multiple disciplines, including engineering, computer science, management, commerce, law, pharmacy, agriculture, journalism, applied sciences, and liberal arts.

As part of the partnership, Invertis University will also introduce industry-focused academic programmes powered by Google Cloud. These programmes will provide practical exposure to cloud computing, artificial intelligence, machine learning, cybersecurity, and data analytics, along with access to globally recognised Google Cloud learning resources and certification opportunities.

Centre of Excellence to drive AI research and innovation

The university also plans to establish a dedicated Google Agentic AI Centre of Excellence (CoE) on campus. The facility will serve as a hub for AI research, faculty development, innovation projects, hackathons, startup incubation, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Students and researchers will be able to develop real-world AI applications using Google Cloud technologies and Gemini models across sectors such as healthcare, agriculture, finance, manufacturing, education, sustainability, and public services.

Parth Gautam, Executive Director of Invertis University, said the partnership with Google Cloud goes beyond adopting new technology and represents a transformation in how education, research, and innovation are delivered. The initiative would empower students and faculty with modern AI capabilities while preparing graduates to lead the next wave of digital transformation, he added.
