A man in a burqa entered the ladies compartment near Ghatkopar, causing panic. A complaint has been filed and the GRP and RPF are searching for the suspect.

In a shocking incident, a man disguised in a burqa entered the ladies’ compartment of Mumbai local near Ghatkopar station on the Central Railway. The incident caused panic and confusion among the female passengers. According to reports, the man exploited the crowded conditions to board the compartment undetected.

Initially, his disguise was effective, but his suspicious behaviour soon drew the attention of the women around him. A video was shot inside the compartment where women can be seen confronting the man and also raising concerns related to safety.

The women promptly alerted the railway staff and police. In response, teams from the Government Railway Police (GRP) and Railway Protection Force (RPF) quickly arrived on the scene. However, the man managed to flee by jumping out of the train before he could be apprehended.

Police are reviewing CCTV footage from both the station and the train to identify the suspect. Teams have been formed to locate and capture the man, and a case is currently being filed.
