Motorola Razr Fold launched in India: Motorola has launched its first foldable smartphone, the Motorola Razr Fold, in India, expanding its premium smartphone portfolio amid growing competition in the foldable segment. The company said the device comes with what it claims is the world’s top foldable camera system, recognised by the DXOMARK Gold Label, along with a 6000mAh battery, a large foldable display and premium AI-powered features.
Motorola Razr Fold Price in India
In India, the price of the Motorola Razr Fold starts at Rs. 1,49,999 for the base variant featuring 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. It is also available in a 16GB + 512GB RAM and storage configuration, priced at Rs. 1,59,999. The brand has also introduced a FIFA World Cup '26 Collection of this foldable phone, priced at Rs. 1,69,999.
Under the launch offers, customers can avail of an instant bank discount of Rs. 10,000. Additionally, they can opt for an exchange bonus of the same value. No-cost EMI options of up to 18 months are also available through select banks. Customers who purchase this foldable phone by June 20 will be eligible for one free screen replacement; this benefit remains valid for one year from the date of purchase.
The Motorola Razr Fold features a foldable camera system recognised by DXOMARK’s Gold Label for imaging performance.
The foldable smartphone includes:
- A 50MP Sony LYTIA 828 main camera
- A 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 periscope lens with 3x optical zoom and 100x super zoom
- A 50MP ultrawide + macro vision camera with a 122-degree field of view.
- A 20MP selfie camera in folded mode and a 32MP front camera in open mode
The phone also supports up to 8K Dolby Vision video recording, targeting users focused on photography and content creation.
Motorola said the Razr Fold packs a 6000mAh battery, which it claims is the largest battery in the foldable smartphone category. The company says the battery is designed to support all-day usage despite the large display and high-performance camera features.
The Motorola Razr Fold features a 6.6-inch outer display, which unfolds into a larger 8.1-inch 2K screen, aimed at users looking for a tablet-like viewing experience in a smartphone form factor.
As per the reports, the device offers one of the brightest displays in the foldable segment, designed for streaming, gaming and productivity.
Alongside the foldable smartphone, Motorola introduced the Moto Buds 2 Plus, priced at Rs 4,999. The earbuds come with sound tuned by Bose, which the company says delivers segment-leading audio quality.
