Multibagger Defence Stock: Apollo Micro Systems Ltd (AMSL), a Hyderabad-based private defence company, is one top wealth creators of the Dalal Street. The company, which primarily caters to the aerospace and defence industry, is backed by LIC Mutual Fund. Additionally, FIIs too hold a significant stake in the defence firm.

During Friday's trade (Feb 13), the defence stock fell more than 2.5 per cent to trade at Rs 234.55 around 10:30 AM with 7.25 lakh equities changing hands.

From technical standpoint, Apollo Micro Systems shares are trading higher than 200-day moving averages but lower than 5-day, 20-day, 50-day and 100-day moving averages.

Recently, the said that it has been recognised as one of India’s Fastest Growing Engineering Companies by Smart Manufacturing & Enterprises (SME).

Meanwhile, Apollo Micro Systems has announced to invest Rs 300 crore to set up a manufacturing facility in Telangana. The company has also acquired a land parcel of 22,988 square metres at TSIIC, Hardware Park Phase II in Hyderabad.

AMSL said it would invest Rs 30,000 lakhs (Rs 300 crore) in a new electronics and electro-mechanical manufacturing facility.

In the third quarter of current financial year (Q3 FY26), the companu reported 25.4 per cent YoY increase in its net profit to Rs 22.8 crore, compared with Rs 18.24 crore in the same quarter of the last year.

Its revenue from operations grew by 70 per cent YoY to Rs 252.2 crore in the reporting quarter. EBITDA rose 32 per cent to Rs 50 crore.

Apollo Micro Systems' order book stood at Rs 1,305 crore at the end of third quarter.

AMSL offers technology-based solutions in sectors like infrastructure, transportation, aerospace, and defence, among others.
