Nellore Rural MLA announces launch of 168 development works worth ₹17 crore on May 15

Nellore Rural MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy on Friday announced that 168 development works worth ₹17 crore would be launched in the constituency at 8 a.m. on May 15.

Addressing the media at his office here, he said development activities had gained momentum in the constituency after the alliance government came to power, with the support of Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu.

Mr. Reddy said nearly ₹658 crore worth of development works had either been completed, were under progress, had gone to tender, or would soon be taken up in the constituency over the past couple of years.

“As part of the ongoing development, 168 works worth ₹17 crore will be launched simultaneously. Foundation stones will be laid by local residents at the same time. Leaders of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), Jana Sena Party and the BJP will participate as chief guests,” he said.

Former Mayor Nandimandalam Bhanusri, cluster in-charges Jaladanki Sudhakar and Sabir Khan were present.
