Nvidia Reportedly Developing NemoClaw AI Platform

Nvidia is reportedly preparing to launch an open-source platform that would allow companies to deploy AI agents capable of performing tasks across enterprise software systems. The project, internally called NemoClaw, is expected to help organisations automate workplace processes using autonomous digital agents.

According to a report by Wired, Nvidia has already discussed the platform privately with several software companies ahead of its annual developer conference in San Jose next week. Firms approached include Salesforce, Cisco, Google, Adobe and CrowdStrike. However, it remains unclear whether formal partnerships will be announced.

One key feature of the platform is that it works even if enterprise software is not running on Nvidia chips. Since the project is expected to be open source, early collaborators could gain access before its public release. They could also contribute to its development. Nvidia is also planning to include built-in security and data privacy tools for corporate environments.

The initiative reflects the growing interest in autonomous AI agents—sometimes referred to as “AI claws”—that can complete multi-step tasks on computers without constant user prompts. Unlike traditional chatbots, these systems are designed to carry out sequences of actions independently.

However, such tools have also raised security concerns inside companies. Some firms have warned employees against using autonomous agents on work devices following incidents in which experimental systems behaved unpredictably.

For Nvidia, the NemoClaw platform could also strengthen its broader AI strategy by expanding its role in software ecosystems. Moreover, it may attract more enterprise developers alongside its dominant hardware business.
