ONGC Q4 results FY26 date and time: As the earnings season is underway and BSE- and NSE-listed companies are sharing their fourth-quarter results for the financial year 2025-26, state-owned Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) is all set to announce its Q4 FY26 results soon. Along with the quarterly results, the Maharatna PSU announced it might declare a dividend to its shareholders.
ONGC informed this through an exchange filing earlier on May 8.
ONGC is the largest crude oil and natural gas company in India, contributing around 71 per cent to Indian domestic production.
ONGC Q4 results FY26 date and time
Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd, in the exchange filing, informed the bourses that the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company is scheduled on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, to consider and approve audited financial results (standalone and consolidated) of the company for the quarter and financial year ended March 31, 2026.
“Pursuant to Regulation 29 and 50 read with Regulation 33 and 52 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, it is hereby informed that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company is scheduled to be held on Tuesday, the 26th May, 2026, inter-alia, to consider and approve the following business items:- 1. Audited Financial Results (Standalone and Consolidated) of the Company for the Quarter and Financial Year ended 31st March, 2026…,”the oil PSU said in the regulatory filing.
The PSU had announced its Q3 FY26 earnings at around 9.26 PM on February 12, 2026. Therefore, it expected that ONGC might declare its Q4 FY26 earnings at the same time on Tuesday, May 26, 2026.
ONGC dividend 2026 announcement date
Along with the quarterly results, ONGC said the board of directors in the scheduled meeting on Tuesday, May 26, might also recommend paying a final dividend for the financial year ended March 31, 2026.
“Recommendation of Final Dividend, if any, for the Financial Year ended 31st March, 2026,” ONGC added.
ONGC has been paying consistent dividends to its shareholders. In 2026, the oil PSU has already paid a dividend of Rs 625 in Feruary. In 2025, ONGC gave dividend in three occasions – Rs 6 in Novembet, Rs 1.25 in September and Rs 5 in February.
ONGC Q3 results FY26 performance
ONGC reported a 1.6 per cent increase in net profit for the December quarter, aided by higher realisations from new wells and reduced statutory levies, which offset the impact of lower crude oil prices.
The company reported a standalone net profit of Rs 8,372 crore for October-December quarter of 2025-26 financial year, compared with Rs 8,240 crore earning in the same period a year back, according to a company statement.
India's top producer of crude oil - the key feedstock for fuels such as petrol and diesel - and natural gas, used for power generation, fertiliser production, and conversion into CNG and cooking gas, realised over 10 per cent lower earnings on every barrel of crude produced. Natural gas revenues, however, rose.
Shares of ONGC on Friday ended at Rs 299.45 , down Rs 1.35 or 0.45 per cent from the previous close of Rs 300.80, on the BSE.
