Ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026 final, here's a look at five players who have scored goals in multiple FIFA World Cup finals.

Vavá scored two first-half goals (in the 9th and 32nd minutes) for Brazil in their 5-2 win over Sweden in the 1958 FIFA World Cup final at Råsunda Stadium in Solna on June 29, 1958.

Brazil defeated Czechoslovakia 3-1 in the 1962 FIFA World Cup final at Estadio Nacional in Santiago on June 17, 1962. Vavá scored Brazil's third goal in the 78th minute.

Pelé scored a brace for Brazil in the 1958 FIFA World Cup final against Sweden in Solna. He scored his first goal in the 55th minute and his second in the 90th minute to help Brazil secure a 5-2 victory.

Paul Breitner scored one goal for West Germany, from the penalty spot, in the first half of the 1974 FIFA World Cup final against the Netherlands at Olympiastadion in Munich on July 7. West Germany won the match 2-1.

West Germany faced Italy in the 1982 FIFA World Cup final at Santiago Bernabéu in Madrid and lost 1-3. Paul Breitner scored the only goal for the German side in the 83rd minute on July 11, 1982.
