Mommy-to-be, Sonam Kapoor is all set to welcome her second child. As her due date draws close, the actress on Sunday, hosted an intimate Godh Bharai ceremony at her Mumbai residence.

The actress played host to a long list of Bollywood stars, who were seen arriving at the Kapoor residence to join in the celebrations. After spending a memorable day with her friends, the actress took to her Instagram stories to share photos from the intimate ceremony. The photos offer an inside look at the decor, puja and the happy moments that the pregnant star shared with her family and friends. For the special day, Sonam opted for a lime green lehenga that put her baby bump on full display.

She topped off the spring look with a dupatta over her shoulders and opted for an intricate necklace.

Also seen in the photos was her husband, Anand Ahuja who stood by her side throughout the ceremony. He opted for a simple white kurta and pyjama.

The photos from the celebrations saw the two exchanging loving smiles and glances throughout the ceremony. Sonam and Anand are already parents to a son, Vayu, who was born in 2022.

Sonam’s father, actor Anil Kapoor, was present alongside her 'Veere Di Wedding' co-star Kareena Kapoor Khan, veteran actor Shabana Azmi and a host of other Bollywood personalities including Anupam Kher, Bhumi Pednekkar, Masaba Gupta, Anshula Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor. Taking to their handles the stars later posted photos of the mommy-to-be and shared their blessings and best wishes. While Sonam frequently visits home, she has been spending most of her time in her London home. When not making the most of her time home with her son, she has been seen attending major fashion events and tending to work commitments around the globe.
