PM Modi To Inaugurate Noida International Airport Next Month, Says CM Yogi Adityanath

PM Modi will inaugurate Noida International Airport at Jewar in March 2026, marking a major milestone for Uttar Pradesh, which now has the highest number of airports in India.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the Noida International Airport at Jewar next month, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced on Monday during an interaction with the Indian diaspora in Singapore. Describing the new facility as India’s largest airport and a major aviation hub for both passengers and cargo, Yogi emphasised its importance.

Addressing the diaspora, the Chief Minister highlighted that Uttar Pradesh now boasts the highest number of airports in the country. He remarked that the forthcoming airport in Jewar represents a crucial milestone in the state’s infrastructure growth.

“Uttar Pradesh has the highest number of airports in India. PM Modi will inaugurate Noida International Airport, Jewar, next month. This is about to be the biggest airport in India..," CM Yogi Adityanath said.

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi In Singapore

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is on a visit to Singapore. On Monday, he held talks with Vivian Balakrishnan, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Singapore.

In a post on X, Yogi said, “Had a meaningful discussion with Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan, Hon. Minister for Foreign Affairs of Singapore, today. Discussed strengthening Uttar Pradesh-Singapore cooperation under the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, with focus on investment facilitation, infrastructure collaboration, skill development and digital economy partnerships. Reiterated our commitment to further strengthening India-Singapore relations under the leadership of Hon. PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji."

Yogi Adityanath is on an official visit to Singapore from February 22-24, as part of his official visit to Singapore and Japan.
