Punjab CM's cousin Gian Singh Mann joins BJP

Gian Singh Mann, the cousin of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, on Monday (May 11, 2026) joined the BJP in the presence of Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini here.

Mr. Saini and Punjab BJP chief Sunil Jakhar welcomed Mr. Gian Singh Mann into the party fold here.

Mr. Gian Singh Mann is the son of the younger brother of the Punjab Chief Minister's father and is from Satauj village in Sangrur district.

"We welcome Mr. Gian Singh Mann in the BJP," Mr. Saini said while speaking to the media here.

The Punjab Assembly polls are due early next year.
