According to a Mid Day report, the trouble began almost immediately after the screening, when a roughly 88-second clip from the trailer began doing the rounds on social media. According to sources, the footage appears to have been recorded on an attendee's phone during the event, capturing Rama's entry sequence along with the moment he agrees to honour his father's promise to Kaikeyi.

Producer Namit Malhotra and director Nitesh Tiwari have since activated their anti-piracy partners and legal teams to identify and remove unauthorised uploads. A source close to the production said the takedown effort has been underway since Saturday night, with the clip successfully pulled from Reddit by Sunday morning, though scrubbing it from X (formerly Twitter) has proven more difficult.

According to the Australian Classification Board's listing, the footage of the Nitesh Tiwari directorial has been awarded an 'M' (Mature) classification for "moderate violence."

As per the Australian guideline, an 'M' (Mature) classification is an advisory rating. Films and computer games classified as 'M' are 'not recommended for children under the age of 15'. They can have content such as 'violence and themes that require a mature outlook'. Children under the age of 15 may legally access this content.

Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor is officially on his way to attend San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) 2026.

The actor and lead star of the upcoming Indian epic 'Ramayana', was spotted in the early hours of Wednesday morning, arriving at the Mumbai airport to catch his flight to the United States ahead of the global launch of the Nitesh Tiwari directorial.

The actor, who plays Lord Ram in the ambitious mythological epic, is set to mark his presence at one of the world's biggest pop culture events alongside co-star Yash, director Nitesh Tiwari and producer Namit Malhotra.

Videos and photographs circulating on social media showed Ranbir arriving at the airport in a casual outfit as he prepared to fly to the US. On his arrival at the airport, the actor expressed his surprise on spotting the paparazzi there. "Itni raat bhai" he said as he made his way to the security check.

The actor's US trip marks the next phase of the film's ambitious international promotional campaign after first releasing the clip in India on July 18 at a grand Pratham Sankalp launch event at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.
