Ranveer Singh receives threat on WhatsApp, security increased around his residence

Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh on Monday received a threatening WhatsApp voice note demanding crores of rupees, reported PTI.

Following the threat, Mumbai Police have launched an investigation and stepped up security outside the actor’s residence.

The development comes in the wake of the recent firing incident at filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s home.

On the work front, Ranveer Singh is gearing up for the release of Dhurandhar 2, the sequel to his blockbuster 2025 hit Dhurandhar. The film hit screens on March 19, 2026.
