National security agencies in India arrested six suspects for allegedly plotting a terrorist attack, with investigators pointing to suspected links with operatives in Pakistan and Bangladesh, official sources told news agency ANI.

The arrests were made during a joint intelligence-based operation in Tamil Nadu, where security personnel swooped in on multiple locations and apprehended the suspects before the alleged plot could be executed.
