Benchmark indices ended on a negative note on Thursday during the weekly Sensex expiry session, as markets witnessed volatile trade and profit booking at higher levels. Nifty, in the daily chart, formed a bearish candlestick pattern with a higher high and a higher low signaling selling pressure at higher levels around the recent breakdown area of 23,800-23,900. Going ahead, analysts say index to extend the last seven sessions consolidation in the range of 23,200-23,900.

Max Healthcare
Max Healthcare Institute reported a consolidated net profit at Rs 342 crore in the March-ended quarter versus Rs 319 crore in the year ago period, implying a 7% uptick. The company's revenue from operations in Q4FY26 was up 12% to Rs 2,143 crore versus Rs 1,910 crore posted by the company in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
GAIL India
GAIL India reported a decline in quarterly and annual profitability for FY26 as global energy headwinds and weaker margins weighed on earnings despite resilient operational performance. The company reported consolidated profit after tax of Rs 1,485 crore for the March quarter, down 15% from Rs 1,756 crore in the December quarter.
LIC
State-owned Life Insurance Corp (LIC) reported a 23% year-on-year (YoY) growth in its consolidated net profit at Rs 23,467 crore in the fourth quarter, compared with Rs 19,039 crore in the last year period. The company's board has also recommended a final dividend of Rs 10 per share for the financial year 2025-26.

FSN E-Commerce Ventures reported a consolidated net profit at Rs 78 crore in the March-ended quarter versus Rs 20 crore in the year ago period, implying a 286% surge. The profit after tax (PAT) is attributable to the equity shareholders of parent. The Nykaa parent revenue from operations in Q4FY26 was up 28% to Rs 2,648 crore versus Rs 2,062 crore posted by the company in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
ITC
FMCG major ITC Ltd on Thursday reported a 5% year-on-year (YoY) growth in its standalone net profit at Rs 5,113 crore in the fourth quarter, compared with Rs 4,875 crore in the year-ago quarter. The company's board has also recommended a final dividend of Rs 8 per share for the financial year ended March 2026.
LG India
LG Electronics India reported a net profit of Rs 693 crore for the March quarter compared to Rs 755 crore in the year-ago period, implying a 8% year-on-year jump. The electronic home appliances and entertainment system manufacturer reported a revenue of Rs 8,054 crore in Q4FY26, up 8% over Rs 7,448 crore in the corresponding quarter of the last financial year.
