Stocks to BUY today

Stocks to BUY: After a weak performance in the previous session, Indian equity markets are likely to open on a cautious note on Wednesday, July 15, as indicated by the GIFT Nifty.

At 8:10 AM, GIFT Nifty was trading 0.1 per cent lower at 24,043.50, suggesting a mildly negative start for the benchmark indices. GIFT Nifty acts as an early indicator of the Nifty 50’s opening trend by reflecting overnight global market sentiment before domestic markets begin trading.

Stocks to BUY

Ahead of today’s trading session, SEBI-registered Research Analyst Kunal Bothra has identified select trading opportunities, along with specific target prices and stop-loss levels.

Blue Star Share Price Target Today

Kunal Bothra has recommended Blue Star as one of his top picks for the session. The stock comes with a target price of Rs 1,810, while traders can maintain a stop-loss at Rs 1,715.

SBI Cards Share Price Target Today

Bothra has also recommended a BUY call on SBI Cards and Payment Services, with a target price of Rs 666 and a suggested stop-loss level of Rs 610.

Asian Markets Today

Asian markets showed a strong trend on July 15, with major indices trading higher.

  • Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index gained 1.4 per cent to trade at 24,679.50.
  • Japan’s Nikkei 225 advanced nearly 1 per cent, rising over 650 points to 68,390.50.
  • South Korea’s KOSPI emerged as one of the biggest gainers, surging nearly 7 per cent to 7,335.38.

The positive movement across Asian markets provided some support to the Indian stock market and could help limit the downside in today’s trading session.

Indian Market Performance on July 14

The Indian stock market witnessed selling pressure on Tuesday after three consecutive sessions of gains. Benchmark indices ended lower as rising crude oil prices amid escalating Middle East tensions, concerns over higher interest rates, foreign fund outflows, and a weakening rupee weighed on investor sentiment.

The BSE Sensex declined 561.46 points, or 0.72 per cent, to close at 77,054.94. During the session, it touched an intraday low of 77,001.48, falling 614.92 points or 0.79 per cent.

The NSE Nifty 50 dropped 158.95 points, or 0.66 per cent, to settle at 24,052.05.

With global cues remaining mixed and volatility likely to continue, investors will closely track market movements, institutional flows, and key stock-specific developments during today’s session.
