Tamil Nadu’s Minister for Industries, Investment Promotion and Commerce, S. Keerthana, on Saturday, chaired a consultation meeting to review the Budget Demand for Grants for the financial year 2026-27.

The meeting was attended by the Additional Chief Secretary to the Government of Tamil Nadu and senior representatives of Guidance Tamil Nadu, SIPCOT, TIDCO, TIIC, TNPL, TANCEM and TANSALT, says a release.

Detailed discussions were held on the Department’s ongoing development initiatives, the progress of key industrial projects, and new proposals aimed at strengthening Tamil Nadu’s industrial ecosystem, attracting investments, creating employment opportunities, and sustaining the State’s leadership in industrial growth, the release said
