Textile stock: Firm posts Rs 2331 crore revenue, Rs 22.85 cr PAT in 9MFY26

For the nine month period (9MFY26), the firm posted consolidated revenue of Rs 2,331.89 crore. Its net profit increased to Rs 23.6 crore in the period on improvement in operational efficiency and margin management.

Nandan Denim is engaged in manufacturing of denim fabric, shirting fabric and yarn. It is a part of the Ahmedabad-based Chiripal Group.

As per the latest shareholding pattern (December quarter), promoters own majority stake in the company at 51.01 per cent. FIIs own 0.68 per cent stake while DIIs have 1.32 per cent stake. The remaining stake of nearly 47 per cent is held by non-institutional investors.

Nandan Denim Stock Split, Bonus

According to BSE website, the company had split the face value of its shares in September 2024. The company had fixed the stock split ratio at 10:1, meaning each share of Rs 10 face value was split into 10 new shares of Re 1.

Just before the sub-division, the company had issued bonus shares in the ratio of 2:1, meaning two additional shares of Rs 10 face value were issued to the eligible shareholders for every one share.

As per BSE analytics, the textile stock has more than doubled investors money in the long term. The counter has, however, underperformed the broader market in the last two years. The stock has declined 26 per cent in the last one year and 9 per cent in two years. The stock has delivered a positive return of 42 per cent in three years. It has yielded a huge return of 208 per cent in five years.

Earlier on Thursday, benchmark BSE Sensex fell 558 points amid heavy selling in IT shares, as concerns over AI-led disruptions and waning hopes of a Fed rate cut after firm US economic data weighed on investor sentiment. The 30-share BSE Sensex declined 558.72 points, or 0.66 per cent, to settle at 83,674.92. During the day, it tanked 716.97 points, or 0.85 per cent, to hit an intraday low of 83,516.67. The 50-share NSE Nifty declined 146.65 points, or 0.57 per cent, to end at 25,807.20.
