Two killed as two wheeler collides with van in Polavaram dist.

Two persons died when a two-wheeler, on which three persons were travelling, collided with a van laden with gravel near Abhicharla village of Kunavaram mandal in Polavaram district on Monday.

The deceased have been identified as Vannam Lakshman of Pandrqjupalli village and Paddam Karthik of Mullooru village in Pilavadam district. Another person suffered injuries.

The incident occurred while the trio was heading towards Chittoor. The Kunavaram police rushed to the spot and shifted the bodies to Government hospital in Pilavadam district.

The police registered a case and the investigation is under way.
