Two teenagers drown in lake in Nirmal district

In a tragic incident, two teenagers drowned in a lake at Vitholi village in Mudhole mandal of Nirmal district on Monday.

The deceased were identified as 14-year-old Swaraj, a native of Nanded in Maharashtra, and 15-year-old Nikhil, of Kolur village in Nirmal district.

According to sources, the duo accidentally drowned while taking a bath in the water body to beat the summer heat late on Monday.

They arrived in Vitholi village two days ago to spend a couple of days at their relative’s house as part of their summer vacations. But they met with a tragic end, leaving their relatives devastated.
