UGC NET Admit Card: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the UGC NET December 2025 city intimation slip for candidates appearing in the upcoming examination session. The document informs applicants about the city where their exam centre will be located, helping them plan travel and stay arrangements in advance.
As per information shared by NTA and inputs from PTI, the city intimation slip is a preliminary document and should not be confused with the official UGC NET admit card. The admit card, which carries the exact examination centre address, roll number and reporting time, will be issued separately a few days before the exam.
The UGC NET December 2025 examination will be conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode from 31 December 2025 to 7 January 2026 across multiple shifts.

UGC NET December 2025 exam pattern
The examination will consist of two papers conducted in a single session of three hours:
Paper I: Teaching and research aptitude with 50 questions
Paper II: Subject-specific paper with 100 questions
Both papers will be objective in nature.
