A vlogger couple from Kerala has captured attention online after walking all the way to Chennai to meet their idol, Tamil actor-turned-politician and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay.

Armed with backpacks and tents, the couple has set out on a nearly 650-km journey on foot to Chennai to meet their idol, actor-turned-politician Vijay. Their journey from Tanur to Chennai has gained attention on social media, with Vijay fans following and supporting them online.

Their videos, showing interactions with locals, moments from the road and their excitement about meeting Vijay, have gone viral across platforms.

K S Mohammed Rafi, a driver, and his wife C P Ummu Shahanamol began the walk on Thursday and plan to enter Tamil Nadu through Palakkad before heading towards Chennai.

In their daily vlog, the couple said they had admired Vijay’s film characters for years and always wanted to meet him in person. “When Vijay launched his political party, won the elections and began preparing to become the chief minister, our desire to meet him became even stronger. That is when we decided to walk all the way to Chennai," they said.

The couple spends nights wherever they find a safe place to rest and resumes the journey every morning. Though they do not yet know how they will meet Vijay after reaching Chennai, they said they believe things will work out once they arrive in the city.
