Bron Breakker Def. Seth Rollins

  • Seth Rollins began this match like a house afire, opening up with a flurry of offense as the action quickly spilled to the outside. Fans were 100% behind Seth Rollins as Michael Cole talked up how Rollins will be at a disadvantage the longer the match goes against the younger Breakker.
  • Breakker caught Rollins in midair and hit a belly-to-belly suplex to the outside of the ring as Tampa Bay began barking. Fans chanted “let’s go Rollins” as Breakker took the fight to Seth on the outside.
  • Back inside the ring, the “let’s go Rollins” chants continued as Breakker ragdolled Rollins with German suplexes. Fans were booing and barking as Breakker slowed the pace down with methodical suplexes. Breakker put the squeeze on Seth Rollins with a rear-naked choke.
  • Rollins fought back with a series of chops, but was caught in a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Breaker hit a wicked clothesline after hitting the ropes three times, resulting in a nearfall.
  • Breakker set Rollins up on the top rope but Rollins bit him while trying to fight him off. Breakker sprinted up the ropes and barely hit a mistimed Frankensteiner for another nearfall.
  • Breakker dumped Seth to the outside and tried to hit his super spear, but Rollins met him with a superkick. Both Rollins and Breakker barely beat the count at nine. Rollins rallied and scored multiple nearfalls with a clothesline and a flying knee. The crowd was on fire for this entire match.
  • Breakker stopped a stomp and hit a military press into the knees in the gut. The two screwed up a tilt-a-whirl spot, but Breakker made up for it with a standing moonsault. Seth answered with a buckle bomb into a clothesline as both men laid out for “this is awesome” chants. There was an awesome sequence where Seth hit a superplex, but Bron countered with a Falcon Arrow of his own. Breakker redeemed himself with a perfect Frankensteiner, but Rollins landed on his feet.
  • Rollins hit the Pedigree followed by the stomp, but Paul Heyman interrupted. Rollins grabbed a chair. The crowd was the star of this match, because as good as it was, Seth and Bron were on separate pages during a few spots.
  • The Vision hit the ring, but Rollins thwarted their attack with a chair. Rollins walked into a spear, but he kicked out. Rollins countered a second spear with a Pedigree, but Breakker countered a top rope move with a spear in midair. Breakker hit a third torpedo spear for the win.

Trick Williams Def. Sami Zayn

  • WWE aired a vignette featuring last night’s goat’d Gingerbread Man funeral. Fans booed Sami Zayn loudly as Michael Cole described him as a “bitter, grizzled angry veteran.”
  • Trick Williams made his all-world entrance alongside Lil Yachty. There was frustration from Sami Zayn right off the bat as he tried to attack Trick the second Trick got into the ring. Trick opened up with “Whoop that Trick” stomps as fans chanted along. The announcers talked up the juxtaposition between Trick Williams, who was over at the highest level from Day 1, and Sami Zayn—who scratched and clawed his way up the ranks for over two decades.
  • Sami mounted Williams and hammered away as fans booed. Fans went back-and-forth chanting for Sami and Trick as Zayn opened up with his deep arsenal of offense. Yachty distracted referee Daphanie LaShaunn and Sami Zayn used a candy cane stick on Trick Williams. Nearfall.
  • Trick distracted the referee this time as Lil Yachty struck Sami with the kendo stick for his receipt. Trick hit the Trick Shot and Tampa bit on the nearfall. Zayn dropped Lil Yachty and blasted him with the kendo stick. The distracted Zayn then walked into a clothesline on the outside. Williams went for the Book End, but Sami hit a DDT on the steel step. Sami hit a Helluva Kick to the back of the head of Lil Yachty and fired up for another on Trick. Trick moved and hit the Trick Shot for the win. Excellent match.
