A recent incident in Karnataka’s Davanagere district has added to these worries, after a teenage student died following a suspected heart attack, leaving his family and village in shock.

Muzammil, a Class 9 student, collapsed at home and could not be revived despite being rushed to hospital.
He was just a boy!
Muzammil, son of Chaman Saab and Fatima, was studying at Rajiv Gandhi Residential High School. Early in the morning, he suddenly collapsed at home. Alarmed family members immediately arranged transport and rushed him to a nearby hospital.
Despite their efforts, doctors confirmed that the boy had died while being taken to hospital. Preliminary findings indicate cardiac arrest as the cause of death, leaving the family stunned and searching for answers.
Only son, bright student remembered
Muzammil was the only son in the family, and relatives said his death has left them devastated. Teachers and classmates described him as a sincere, well-behaved student who performed well in school. His sudden passing has deeply affected everyone who knew him.
As the news spread, Goguddu village fell into mourning. Residents gathered to support the grieving family, while school staff and neighbours expressed condolences. Funeral preparations began amid an atmosphere of sorrow.
