Amaal Mallik calls Gaurav Khanna manipulative on Bigg Boss 19 (Photos: JioHotstar Team)
Bigg Boss 19 contestant, music composer Amaal Mallik, has had a bittersweet equation with many of his fellow contestants. In the latest episode, Amaal got into an argument with Anupamaa actor Gaurav Khanna. Following the nomination process, Gaurav confronted Amaal, stating that he found Amaal’s reason for nominating him to be invalid. Amaal also gave his views on the same and walked away. Later, he was sitting and talking about Gaurav Khanna’s behaviour outside the show.
During a discussion with Malti Chahar, Amaal Mallik said, “GK (Gaurav Khanna) says he doesn’t know me personally; he has done a show with me for 16 weeks during Star Parivaar. We used to talk since then…” Malti asked Amaal how Gaurav was in the professional space, to which Amaal added, “He is a dramebaaz, even there he was attention seeking. He wanted the camera to be on him at all times. He wouldn’t let anyone speak; in fact, he would come in between others to create his moment so that he got captured. Otherwise, he was manipulative.”
Gaurav and Amaal have not been the best of friends on the show so far; however, they have shared a cordial relationship. While Gaurav is coming across as a sensible contestant, Amaal has been grabbing attention for all the wrong reasons. On Tuesday, Amaal Mallik stirred a discussion on social media after he squeezed Abhishek Bajaj’s face during the nomination task. Ex-Bigg Boss winner Gauahar Khan also slammed Amaal’s actions on her social media account.
After Zieshan Quadri’s eviction, Amaal and his group seem to be disintegrating. In the latest episode, Amaal was seen convincing Tanya Mittal to become friends once again. He even said that what would Zeishan think outside seeing the group break. However, in an exclusive conversation with SCREEN recently, Zesihan Quadri said he felt betrayed by Amaal Mallik. He learned a few things the music composer said about him, and was hurt by them.
