Amazon Bazaar sees 5-6x Y-O-Y jump in orders in 2026

Amazon Bazaar, the commerce giant’s value shopping vertical in India, has seen a 5-6 times year-on-year growth in orders through Amazon Bazaar in the first four months of 2026 as against the same period in 2025.

Launched in 2024 as a ‘value shopping’ experience for budget-conscious Indian consumers, Amazon Bazaar sells low-cost products for less than ₹600.

Speaking to mediapersons at a press briefing here on Thursday , Sameer Lalwani, Head - Amazon Bazaar said that the vertical has seen strong traction amongst both customers and sellers and now has a seller footprint of over 30,000 across the country. The vertical has over 3 crore listed products.

“In 2025, our overall selection of products in Amazon Bazaar went up by 4X. The visitors. We saw a 10X growth in the number of transacting customers, the number of orders and the number of units that customers were buying. The momentum has been very strong,” he said.

Women’s fashion

He added that women’s fashion alongside home and kitchen appliances are the strongest categories with Amazon Bazaar with the two product groups contributing almost 50 per cent of all the items sold. Other products sold through the vertical include electronic accessories, beauty products and footwear.

Interestingly, Lalwani mentioned that out of the 3 crore products sold through Amazon Bazaar nearly 2 crore are in the sub 300 price category, reflecting high traction for ultra low cost products.

On Amazon Bazaar’s performance in Tamil Nadu, Lalwani said that orders from the State have increased 5X YoY. “Tamil Nadu now has over 1,700 sellers who are a part of Amazon Bazaar, 2X YoY increase in sellers in 2026,” he said.
