When a reporter from Access Hollywood brought up the couple's wedding, Roach didn’t dodge the question. Instead, he smiled and said, “The wedding has already happened. You missed it.” When pressed on whether he was serious, he laughed and added, “It’s very true!”

So far, neither Zendaya nor Holland has publicly addressed the claim. Their representatives have also remained silent, a move that fits their long-standing approach to keeping their relationship private.

Engagement rumours followed years later. At the Golden Globe Awards in January 2025, Zendaya was spotted wearing a large diamond ring on her left hand. Shortly after, TMZ reported that Holland had proposed.

Holland’s father, Dominic Holland, later shared details on Patreon, revealing that his son had purchased a ring, asked for Zendaya’s father’s blessing, and carefully planned the proposal.

A few months later, Holland subtly confirmed the engagement during a panel appearance. When a reporter referred to Zendaya as his girlfriend, he gently corrected them: “Fiancée.”
