AXISCADES Technologies Limited signed an agreement at the Embassy of France in New Delhi on Wednesday to enhance India’s capability in Space Situational Awareness, coinciding with French President Emmanuel Macron’s state visit to India.
The signing ceremony took place in the presence of Eléonore Caroit, Minister Delegate to the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, who was part of Macron’s official delegation. The agreement was signed with French firm Aldoria, a space surveillance company.
Shares of AXISCADES rose 2.36 per cent to ₹1,509.40 on the National Stock Exchange by early afternoon on Wednesday, touching an intraday high of ₹1,535.00, against a previous close of ₹1,474.60.
AXISCADES Technologies, formerly AXISCADES Engineering Technologies Limited, is a Bengaluru-headquartered aerospace and defence technology company with over 3,000 professionals operating across 17 locations globally, including offices in France, Germany, Denmark, the United States, and Canada. The company provides end-to-end technology solutions across the Aerospace, Defence, and ESAI sectors.
The deal underscores a broader push by both India and France to deepen bilateral cooperation in the space and defence sectors. Space Situational Awareness is the ability to track, monitor and predict the movement of objects in orbit has become an increasingly strategic priority for nations as satellite traffic and space debris proliferate in low Earth orbit.
AXISCADES has existing relationships with Indian defence forces, the Ministry of Defence, defence laboratories and public sector undertakings, along with global original equipment manufacturers. The company’s defence portfolio spans weapon systems, avionics, radar, electronic warfare, drones and anti-drone systems.
