Bengaluru to face traffic curbs on Sunday for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's events near HAL Airport and Art of Living Centre, with diversions on Old Airport Road and NICE Road.

Traffic disruptions are expected across several parts of Bengaluru on Sunday in view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the city. Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to address a public event near HAL Airport and later participate in the 45th anniversary programme at the Art of Living International Centre.
To manage security and movement, Bengaluru Traffic Police have announced multiple travel restrictions between 5 am and 3 pm.
Around the HAL Airport area, vehicular movement will be completely restricted on the Airport Exit Road from Old Airport Road to the DGCA Office, as well as on the HAL Gate No. 30 stretch between Umbrella Junction and Gate No. 30.
Parking Restrictions:
Parking will also not be allowed on Old Airport Road between SD Road Junction and Trinity Junction, along with HAL Gate No. 30 Road and Airport Exit Road.
Parking For Public:
People arriving from Marathahalli or Whitefield can drop passengers near Gate No. 2 on Airport Exit Road before 8.30 am and park at Sir M Visvesvaraya College Ground in Murugeshpalya. Those coming from the city side can use the same drop-off point and park at the HAL Bus Yard on Suranjan Das Road.
Alternative Routes:
Traffic curbs will also affect NICE Road between Sompura Cloverleaf Junction and Kanakapura Road from 9 am to 3 pm. Commuters travelling from Tumakuru Road towards Kanakapura Road are advised to take the CMTI Junction route via Rajkumar Punyabhoomi Road. Vehicles from Magadi Road should divert at Sumanahalli Junction, while travellers from Mysuru Road can use Nayandahalli Junction and the Outer Ring Road.
Authorities have advised the motorists heading towards Bannerghatta Road to use Harinagara Cross and Jambusavari Dinne Road to avoid congestion near restricted junctions.
